Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

This past year I’ve taken on the challenge of becoming a healthier version of myself and part of that process has been taking up running, this was a completely new thing for me…….well exercise in general is all a new thing to me! 
I have worked so hard to tackle my life long bad habits with food in the hope that I can remain a healthier version of myself for the rest of my life. 
In order to achieve this I need to remain focused and motivated and I always work best with a challenge so here’s my next one, to run 24 miles within the month of December, sounds doable right?!
Only this will be real challenge for me because as most of you will know I’m a fair weathered girl and any opportunity to be in a warmer climate I’m there so this will bring more challenges of its own as December is very much in the heart of winter so will challenge me without a doubt. It’ll be a test of the mind and body but I WILL do it but I may need your support along the way.
