Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers
RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.
Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.
Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

Thursday 11th Dec
And so it begins!!
Sunday 30th Nov Tomorrow is December 1st, so the official start of the RNLI Reindeer Run. I've already logged over 6 miles and I've received generous donations so many thanks. Maybe, if RNLI is your charity then you might be able to support my challenge Share
I'm aiming for £300🤞🤞
Monday 17th Nov The challenge hasn't started yet and already I've reached the £125 target so I've raised the target to £200 thanks to everyone who's donated 🤩 Share
Latest 🏃🏻♀️17th November
Monday 17th Nov It's still not December 🤷♀️ but I thought it would be good to get a few gentle runs logged after such a long gap. Went a bit further this time and included a couple of uphill bits. Thanks so much for donations so far, at the rate you're giving I shall end up with more than one medal 🤣🤣 THANKS Share
Running for the RNLI
Monday 10th Nov After several months of not running (physio's orders) I've decided that I'm going to start pounding the pavements of Portishead once more, joining in with the RNLI Reindeer Run 24 miles in December!! And even though it's not December yet, I completed a gentle 2 miles yesterday!! RNLI is a great charity, we can watch them from our balcony out on the Severn Estuary ShareThank you to my Sponsors
