Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

After massively bruising my coccyx on friday, every bit of impact hurts massively. So 2 hilly miles pushing through the pain was enough for me today!

6.26 miles AKA a 10k personal best!!!! After a 7am spin class and a full day of uni too! I only set out to go on a 3 mile run with my friend Jack, but the runner’s high was insane I just wanted to carry on… so I did by myself and got my best time of 10k in 1:03 minutes! The tiredness has kicked in tonight🙃. Thank you thank you to everyone who has donated, we have absolutely smashed my target!!! ❤️

After a morning of lectures, plus a shift at work, a run has lifted my spirits massively... Especially because it was the Christmas  light switch on whilst I was out too🎄 Also, what better way to start the Reindeer Run than seeing actual reindeers on campus!! I will insert pictures, as yes I wouldn't have believed it either. 🦌
21 miles left to go and £37 donated.

Hi everyone! 👋
As the nights are drawing in and the weather is getting shockingly cold, I have decided to take on a little winter challenge of my own.🥶
This December, I will be outside running a minimum of 24 miles, where I will be following in my Grandpa's footsteps, to raise money for the amazing RNLI🛟. Since I have been alive, and probably long before that, he has made continuous efforts to collect money for this charity, even having a collection box in the entrance hall of their house! His enthusiasm is infectious and so the least I can do is join in with his love and passion for this charity.❤️

I only found my love for running in March 2025, so this will be my first time facing those freezing morning starts and dark winter evenings ❄️. But if the RNLI crew can head out into rough, icy seas in the harshest conditions to save lives, then I can definitely lace up my shoes and brave the cold to help raise awareness and support.

So please, if you have the means to, a donation to my page, no matter how big or small would mean the absolute world to me, my Grandpa and of course the RNLI.
