Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

24 Miles in December Challenge!

Sunday 23rd Nov
Hey everyone!

I've set myself a challenge for December! I am going to run at least 24 miles through the month to raise money for the RNLI. Anyone that knows me knows that I am into everything fitness apart from running - and maybe real life fitness classes!

In my efforts to start running I saw this challenge and thought what better way to make myself fitter for running and get better at it at the same time whilst creating a platform to give back to a group of people across the UK that help anyone and everyone at anytime of day on any day - maybe even Christmas for some. what they do is nothing short of heroic and it should be recognised.

So through the horrible weather and groggy mornings and nights I am going to run 24 miles for the RNLI and myself to prove that when I say I am going to do something that I will do it. wish me luck!
