Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

Hi everyone, I’m Philly a 22 year old who hadn’t ever voluntarily run until 2023 when I decided to start couch to 5k. My running journey has been rather interrupted by a string of injuries (not surprising to anyone who knows me) but 5 broken bones, dodgy knees and an ankle injury later, I’ve decided to take on the challenge of running 24 miles as part of the RNLI Reindeer Run in December 2025. 

Having lived by the sea for over 3 years now and visited many RNLI station across the south west, I wanted to do my bit to raise money to support such a wonderful and vital cause, with volunteers who risk their lives daily to save lives at sea, in all conditions rain or shine. 

All donations are appreciated no matter how big or small and any one who can share the link or spread the word about this challenge would be much appreciated.
