Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

My Updates

To Nathan Alexander Ritchie

Thursday 13th Nov
Hi my name is Rachael and I am doing this challenge because of a very special man that was in my life that’s sadly passed away. Nathan Ritchie, he became a big brother to me from the first day I met him, he was one of the  most kind, caring and craziest person I had ever met. Nathan passed away in 2022 and he played a massive part in so many lives and always lite up a room when he walked in with his big smile, from a young age Nathan loved helping people and was obsessed with boats and being out at sea and helping helping his grandpa on the pier then went on to working alongside his dad at calmac ferry’s then from the age of  16 he did various fundraising for the RLNI then went on to becoming a crew member in 2015, then he moved to Oban and applied to be a crew member but unfortunately he was diagnosed with epilepsy which prevented him from joining. So I dedication to Nathan I am doing this challenge for him because of his dedications and passion to being in the RLNI.I can’t wait to get these steps in and help raise money to help all these amazing people that help everyone in need.
