I’m fundraising for the RNLI to help power brave lifesavers to the rescue
I’m part of a team of retired and serving police officers from North Devon embarking on an extraordinary journey to conquer the Ultra Mountain Challenge 16 Peaks on 22 June 2026. This personal marathon demands conquering the 16 highest peaks of Snowdonia, covering over 50km of rugged and exposed terrain—all within a single day. Starting at 3am and racing against time to finish before nightfall, this challenge tests the very limits of endurance, resilience, and determination—qualities that inspire us all.
We are united by a shared purpose: raising vital funds for causes close to our hearts.
Every day, around the coasts of the UK and Ireland, RNLI volunteers are kitting up to answer desperate calls for help. But they can’t launch to the rescue without support. The RNLI relies on donations to fund the kit and training volunteers need to save lives at sea and return safely home. I’m fundraising to help them stay ready to rescue.
