48hr - Whatnot Raid Train

I’m fundraising for the RNLI to help power brave lifesavers to the rescue

Every day, around the coasts of the UK and Ireland, RNLI volunteers are kitting up to answer desperate calls for help. But they can’t launch to rescue without support. The RNLI relies on donations to fund the kit and training volunteers need to save lives at sea and return safely home. This fundraiser aims to help the RNLI heroes stay ready to rescue.

The 48hr event will be hosted over on Whatnot (a live stream selling app) in the LEGO category, starting at 12:00 on Saturday 29th August and run non-stop through until 12:00 on Monday 31st August. Multiple streamers on the app taking part, each hosting an estimated 2hr stream, before raiding all their viewers into the next participating streamer: creating the non-stop 48hr live stream, which we are referring to as a 'raid train'!

Donations will be collected by multiple means:

- 100% of tips sent by viewers during the streams over the 48hr event will be donated to the RNLI

- Participating streamers opting into donating a % of profits for items sold during their 48hr event stream
