I’m fundraising for the RNLI to help power brave lifesavers to the rescue
Our Community Champions WeAreOne event will support the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) - our trust-wide charity chosen by Pupil Voice.
From Monday 6th to Friday 10th July 2026, schools and services across Thinking Schools Academy Trust will be raising awareness and money for the charity that saves lives at sea.
Since 1824, the RNLI has been saving lives at sea. Across the years many things have changed, but the courage and commitment of their lifesavers has continued to the present day, nearby to many of our own schools, and the RNLI continue to work towards their goal of saving every one.
The week will:
1. Raise awareness about the good work of the RNLI
2. Empower schools and staff across Thinking Schools Academy Trust to lead their own fundraising event for the RNLI
3. Bring pupils and staff together to support one charity that saves lives at sea
