Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

Taking on the RNLI Reindeer Run: My 100km December Challenge

Thursday 20th Nov

This December, I’m lacing up my trainers for a cause that means a lot to me—the RNLI Reindeer Run. Throughout the month, I’ll be taking on a personal challenge to run 100km, all in support of the incredible work the RNLI does to save lives at sea.

What makes this challenge even bigger for me is that I only started running again at the end of October. Getting back into the rhythm hasn’t been easy, and committing to 100km in one month is definitely pushing my limits—but that’s exactly why I’m doing it. If the RNLI volunteers can head out into dangerous seas at a moment’s notice, I can certainly put one foot in front of the other for 31 days.

My goal is to raise £250, with every penny going directly to the RNLI. Their crews rely on public donations to fund training, equipment, and the lifeboats that keep people safe around our coasts, day and night, all year round.

If you’d like to support me—whether by donating, cheering me on, or sharing my challenge—it would mean the world. Together, we can help the RNLI continue their lifesaving work.

Here’s to a month of cold miles, early mornings, and doing something good this December. Let’s go! 🦌🏃‍♂️💨
