Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

The Christmas bells begin to chime, 'Be More Bear' starts its special time. Twenty-four days, a mile each day, For RNLI, come what may! Our brave lifeboat crew, we want to cheer, With every step, we banish fear. Through frosty mornings, crisp and bright, We seek sponsors, day and night. This first day dawns, a hopeful start, With joyful spirit, and open heart. The bears are ready, boots on tight, For RNLI, we'll run with might! In loving memory of Bear and Helen, Their spirit guides us, heaven-sent.

The wind may bite, the frost may gleam, But a noble cause fuels a hopeful dream! Our running shoes are tied and tight, For RNLI, with all our might! A Reindeer Run, a festive dash, To help our heroes, quick as a flash. They brave the storms, the icy spray, To bring the lost ones home each day. From crashing waves to darkest night, They stand for hope, a guiding light. So many lives, they bravely save, From the wild, unpredictable wave. My goal is set, a modest plea, Just one hundred and twenty-five GBP! Each pound you give, a helpful stride, With RNLI, by their side. Imagine the warmth, the comfort found, When a lifeboat's there, on hallowed ground. Your donation, big or small it seems, Fuels their courage, fulfills their dreams.
