Walking with the Be More Bear at Christmas Team

In May of this year I joined with friends from the Plushie Community on IG to walk in Memory of our friends Bear and Helen who unexpectedly passed away in January. We have got together again to walk the Reindeer Run this December to remember our friends at Christmas.

Helen and Bear loved to visit the RNLI stations and hoped to visit them all one day. They walked the May Day mile in May 2024 raising over £900.

Sunday 21st Dec

We walked around Treacle Market in Macclesfield and then started our walk home, Boris suggested we stop at the pub, had to walk a little extra to make the mile

Sunny day but very busy to managed a mile late afternoon

Another wet and windy day, one exercise class and 2 hours around the supermarkets I think i have covered my mile today

A walk around town and home again we think 3 miles today and Kate got to see the Elmers

A very wet day today so just a mile today

Not the walk we wanted to do as we are fair weather walkers and it rained until after lunch so a walk across the field along the Monsal trail for a bit and then back across the field before the sun set

Monsal trail walk today, its not a circular walk so just did part of it and then back to yesterdays view point

Very wet day so a walk without the plushies and discovered a quick 1 mile walk around the houses

Day 8, nice sunny day did our walk around the fields walk made it 3 miles today

Day 7 Was a walk to and from Prestbury Christmas Market, it was a bit so didn't look that Christmassy but a pink of beer and a mulled wine helped 6 miles today

Day six was a little bit of shopping and then walk home instead of using the car, lets say 2 miles today

Day five Bents Garden Centre

A plushie meet up at Bents Garden Centre Warrington, a garden centre so big we clocked up 2 miles

A late afternoon walk around Macclesfield doing the Elmer's Christmas Art Parade walk, not a good map reader so managed to clock up 4 miles
