Taking on the Reindeer Run challenge for RNLI lifesavers

RNLI supporters around the country will be donning their antlers and strapping up their hooves to run 24 miles – all to help keep RNLI volunteers safe this winter.

Freezing seas, numbing winds and sub-zero temperatures – would you fancy launching into that aboard a lifeboat? RNLI crews will be doing just that, battling the elements this winter to continue their mission to save every one.

Reindeer Runners will be raising money so they have everything they need to answer the call for help. Because no matter how harsh the winter weather might be, lifeboat crews will always launch to the rescue. I’d be so grateful if you could sponsor me.

Walk this evening looking at all the Christmas lights round Rayleigh.3.3 miles.

Today I joined Stormy Stan walking from Southends inshore lifeboat station to the end of Southend pier and back. 2.6 miles.

Lovely walk today from Hadleigh to old Leigh and back with lunch stop. 6.4 miles added to my RNLI REINDEER RUN

This evening I did a circular walk from my house covering 4.5 miles. Going along the streets with all the houses lit up with christmas lights.

A muddy walk through woods and around Igham Mote in Kent. 5.5 miles.

A windy walk out to the end of Southnd pier adding 2.5 miles to my 24mile Reindeer run target.

Start of my raindeer run to raise funds for the RNLI starting at Southend on Sea RNLI station, walking to Thorpe Bay Yacht club and back. 4.5 miles completed of 24miles.
